Value Added Services
TravelStore’s comprehensive travel services provide corporate travelers with personal attention and assistance with virtually any travel related situation. We will customize and use these services throughout our partnership.
24/7 Toll Free Emergency Service
TravelStore provides 24/7 emergency reservations services to corporate travelers through our partnership with The Reservations Center. Emergency center staff average ten years of experience with domestic and international reservations. They have access to your traveler profiles and are fully trained on your policies and procedures. A TravelStore account manager is always available to assist if special service issues arise.
All requests called into the center will be queued to your dedicated TravelStore consultant’s computer the next morning, keeping your dedicated consultants aware of all travel activity.
All your travelers will receive high-quality service, but some senior executives and frequent travelers need priority VIP service. Your VIPs may have a separate telephone number and their reservations will be confidential. We will also customize our quality control software to alert travel counselors and quality control specialists to their special requirements. We assign VIP travel counselors or customize your service plan as requested to provide your senior executives with services including:
- Prioritized reservation processing
- Request for pre-check-in with hotels and car rental companies
- Complimentary upgrade attempts on flights over three hours
- Conference room reservations for airline clubs and hotels
- Meet and greet services at airports and hotels
- Supplier notification of VIP status for upgrades/special considerations
Passports and Visas
We will obtain visas and expedite the issuance of passports. Visa and passport regulations are stored in our reservation database and provided, along with application forms and instructions, when appropriate. Expiration dates of passport holders will be part of the traveler profile. Government fees and any out-of-pocket expenses incurred by TravelStore will be passed on to the traveler.
Travel and Entertainment Policy
You'll see significant savings to your bottom line from a T&E policy tailored to your requirements. Through automation and careful travel requisition processing, we ensure that your travelers adhere to established policies, balancing their needs with the mandates to control costs.
To ensure maximum savings, your travel policy must be continually refined to reflect newly negotiated deals or changes in the travel industry. TravelStore’s sophisticated automation, quality control systems and client services identify patterns that we use to negotiate with travel suppliers-- which can result in savings in airfares, hotel costs, car rentals, and limousine transfers.
Value Added Tax Reclamation (VAT)
VAT is a tax on consumer expenditures which is also charged on many business transactions. Tax charged on the services used by your travelers in Europe (hotels, car rental, professional fees, trade shows, training, etc.) may be recoverable. Most corporations don't claim VAT refunds because it can be a very time-consuming exercise. We'll assist your company in determining eligibility, provide a program to reclaim past tax expenditures, and establish a procedure for future refunds.
